About Me

Breed: Olde Tyme Bulldog
Colour: Tri-Colour
Age: 6 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI03443

Say hello to our beautiful Bella!
It doesn’t take much for this gorgeous girl to become your best friend, if you have a pouch of treats on you, she’ll never leave your side! Along with her big appetite, she also has a big heart, content to share it with all people she meets and even other dogs. She’s a welcome companion for our dogs on site who may need a bit of confidence when walking or socialising.
Typical of the brachycephalic breed, Bella requires her facial folds to be cleaned daily, her new adopters must be prepared to keep up with this routine in her new home to prevent any skin irritations from arising. She also has a bit of an underbite, but this doesn’t stop her from scoffing up all her favourite treats, It just adds to her lovely personality!
Bella is a lovely dog to walk on lead and enjoys exploring new areas and saying hello to all who she meets, however potential adopters will need to be mindful of this during the hotter months, at these times she will need more mental stimulation inside to keep her busy rather than walks in the heat.
Unfortunately Bella has spent quite a few years left outside in all weathers in her previous home. Any new family will be understanding and patient in helping her resettle back into the luxuries of indoor living, there may be some housetraining reminders required.
-May be able to live with children teenage+
-May be able to live with another dog after successful introductions at the centre.
-Very food motivated/unfussy
-Good with dogs
-Walks well on lead and doesn’t mind the rain
-Needs facial folds cleaning daily
-Will need careful consideration during warmer weather periods
-Requires someone at home initially to help her settle. After a ew months, she may start to be left for short periods and build up from there.

On arrival at the centre she was suffering from some skin infections including ear infections. It was also discovered that Bella had several mammary lumps. With minimal treatment, her skin cleared up and the lumps have been removed. Unfortunately the lumps were found to be malignant but were completely excised, we have also received clear results from a chest xray. Needless to say, the beautiful Bella is now in a much healthier state than when she arrived.

If you think Bella could be a good fit for your lifestyle, please fill out an application form, we are eager to see her in a home of her own, as she very well deserves it!
