About Me

Breed: Domestic crossbreed
Colour: White
Age: 1 Year (approx)
Ref: ANI03672

Meet Boo, a handsome white, red-eyed boy who is approximately one year old and searching for a patient family to show him what a loving home truly feels like. Boo was rescued from a property where he was kept in completely unsuitable and neglectful living conditions, and having spent his early life in such a poor environment, he is a truly sensitive soul whose difficult past has heavily impacted him. His confidence around people is currently not the best, and while the rescue team sees sweet improvements every single day, he still lacks trust in humans. He desperately requires a patient, loving, and understanding family who can give him the time he needs to blossom into the beautiful boy that has previously been suppressed by his upbringing.

Deep down, Boo is a genuinely kind and gentle boy who loves the simple pleasures in life. He thoroughly enjoys having a good forage through his bedding in search of his daily food, and he does wonderfully with enrichment and toys—especially if they contain a secret hidden sweet treat inside for him to discover. Watching him focus on a puzzle toy shows just how much potential is waiting to be unlocked, and there is no doubt that in the right environment, his full, bright personality will finally shine.

Because rabbits are such sociable animals, Boo is looking to be rehomed with a friendly female rabbit. Having a confident lady companion by his side will be key to helping him overcome his fears, boost his self-esteem, and teach him that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Boo has a mountain of love to give, and with a dedicated owner who can heal his sensitive heart, he will finally get the chance to leave his past behind and become a deeply cherished family member.

If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from RSPCA Ashley Heath, you would need to have accommodation already in place. A pair of rabbits will require unrestricted access to a space measuring 6ft by 10ft, totalling 60 square feet. This is equivalent to a 6ft by 2ft hutch with an attached 6ft by 8ft run, containing enrichment and furnishings to allow them to hide and exhibit natural behaviour. A converted shed with a run or a rabbit-proofed indoor room would also be appropriate.
Please note: They will need separate accommodation to start while they are in the bonding process. We can provide guidance on bonding rabbits.
