Meet Marshmallow, a stunning 1 year old siamese with a personality that is just as soft and endearing as her name suggests. She arrived at the centre alongside her feline friends after her previous owner was unfortunately unable to cope. Coming from a busy multi-cat household into a shelter environment was a significant adjustment for this sensitive girl, but her transformation since arriving has been truly heartwarming.

When Marshmallow first joined us, she was understandably overwhelmed by the change. She spent her first few days tucked away in the shadows, preferring to hide until she felt safe. However, with a little dedication and gentle persuasion from our staff, she has completely come out of her shell. You certainly cant miss her now; she makes herself known to everyone who passes by by eagerly pawing at her window to get your attention.

She has blossomed into a super affectionate girl who absolutely loves a fuss. Marshmallow is a professional when it comes to relaxation and already knows every comfy spot in her pen. Whether she is stretching out in a sunbeam or curling up for a nap, she does it with total grace.

Because of her history, Marshmallow is comfortable around other cats and therefore could live with another suitable feline. She may however require a quieter settling in period in her new home. Providing her with a few cozy hidey-holes will allow her to feel secure while she adjusts, but given her recent progress, we expect she will come around quickly and become the heart of the home in no time.
