Mowgli was part of a large multi household of cats that sadly missed out on vital socialising at a young age. Due to perhaps their parentage and/or lack of early intervention/positive experiences these cats get stressed around people.

Mowgli will need understanding owners that will respect her personal space and accept that she may always be a "hands off" cat. Some may call Mowgli an 'in-betweener cat'. This is a cat that can find human interaction unsettling however, with plentiful resources, positive experiences and her own choice over interactions she may choose to befriend and socially interact with main carers in time.

When Mowgli settled here at the centre, we found that she is super inquisitive and will find joy out of watching her cattery servants working throughout the day. She also loves interacting with her toys and other enrichments.

Mowgli is looking for a special home where she can enjoy life away from a busy family home, preferably with outside living, giving her the option to venture into the home once settled and feeling comfortable with her surroundings. This could be a summer house, annex or even secure outbuilding.
