Meet Nova, a beautiful husky with a heart full of fun. She initially arrived in our care last year after her needs were not being met. Nova was successfully adopted but unfortunately due to a chnage in circumstances and through no fault of her own, she is looking for a home again once more.
While she can sometimes be a little nervous when meeting new people, it doesn't take her long to warm up and show her loving nature. Nova is a playful dog who absolutely loves toys and will happily spend time chasing and chewing them. She is a very active and adventurous girl, so she would love to be part of a family who will take her on long walks and explore new places.
Nova gets on well with the majority of dogs at our centre, so she could potentially live with another dog, after successful introductions at the centre. We are looking for an active family with patience and understanding to help her adjust to her new life. Any children in the home would be children aged 12years or older who have had experience of larger breeds and have an understanding of her need for gentle introductions. Nova cannot live with cats or small animals. Ideally Nova will have access to her own secure garden and would like someone at home for most of the day whilst she settles in. In her previous home she was taken to work so has not been used to being left for long periods. Is reported to be housetrained and good for car travel.
If you're an active family with room in your heart and home for a sweet and playful husky, Nova might be the perfect fit for you.
