Meet perfect Posy! ​Posy arrived at the centre after being rescued from a property with multiple other cats. Having never been around people before, this beautiful black cat naturally needed a little time to settle in and start making sense of her new world.
​Posy is looking for a special, understanding home with an owner who completely accepts that she is currently a hands-off cat. While physical touch still makes her a bit nervous, she shows her sweet personality by happily chirping away and rubbing against her favourite things whenever you speak to her. Once she settles into a quiet routine, she may grow in confidence and learn to enjoy a fuss, but she needs an owner who is happy to love her just as she is if that isn't the case.
​If you are willing to give Posy a chance, this lovely girl will reward you with a uniquely rewarding companionship. She is extremely energetic and wonderfully playful, happily engaging with her toys for as long as you'll play with her. She is also a huge fan of treats, which is definitely the secret key to her heart and the best way to start building a bond of trust.
​Due to her background, Posy would thrive in an adult-only home and could live alongside a suitable feline companion—in fact, a confident cat friend might even help her learn that the world isn't so scary after all! Posy would prefer not to live with dogs.
​With patience, treats, and plenty of playtime, Posy is ready to bring her bright, playful spirit to a home that lets her shine at her own pace.

Posy would need a room of her own initially so that she can acclimatise to her new home, with all her familiar scents. She will need areas to hide, rest and play.
