Meet Thyme: The Heart and Soul of a Special Duo
Thyme is a charming lad who is searching for a forever home alongside his best friend and brother, Basil. When Thyme first arrived at the center, he was quite a nervous and scared little soul, but it has been a joy to watch his transformation. He has truly come out of his shell and continues to build more and more confidence with every passing day.
Currently the more courageous of the two, Thyme is a wonderful communicator who will often greet you while chatting away to tell you all about his day. If you are looking for the way to his heart, look no further than the food bowl. Thyme is a massive foodie, and offering a tasty treat is a surefire way to make a lasting friendship with him. While he is still learning to fully lean into a "fuss" and physical affection, he is getting much better at enjoying strokes from the people he knows and trusts.
Because he can still be a bit shy around new faces, Thyme will need a patient family who understands that he might take a little time to settle in and warm up. When he isn't seeking out snacks or conversation, you can usually find him curled up in a sunbeam or perched by a window, contently watching the world go by.
Watching Thyme and Basil together is a truly comedic experience. They have a fantastic dynamic and are full of energy, whether they are racing around together, entertaining themselves with toys, or inviting their human friends to join in on the fun. They are a lively, loving pair who just need the right environment to let their personalities truly shine.
