Meet Ted: the sun worshipping foodie!
Ted arrived in our care looking a little worse for wear after spending all his life in an attic flat. He was understandably a bit shy for his first couple days, but has since settled in a treat and revealed himself to be a total sweetheart. He has quickly become a firm favourite among our staff and volunteers because of his charming personality and his incredible transformation.
This handsome 8 year old boy is a professional snoozer who truly appreciates the finer things in life. He likes to make himself known, especially when it's food time, as he is a big time foodie who won't let a meal time go unnoticed. When he isn't dreaming of his next snack, he is usually busy enticing anyone who walks by to sit down and spend some quality time with him. He jumps at every opportunity for a lap and some company.
Despite never having access to the outdoors before, Ted is certainly making up for lost time. He has discovered the joy of the great outdoors and has become the ultimate sun worshipper, seeking every golden patch of light he can find. Because the outside world is still very new to him, he may benefit from a home with a secure garden where he can feel safe and protected while he continues to explore his new lifestyle.
Ted has spent his years tucked away, but he is more than ready to be the centre of someones world. If you have a quiet home, a sunny spot, and plenty of love to give, Ted is ready to be your most loyal companion.
On arrival, Ted was suffering from a flea allergy. This had caused some fur loss and skin irritation. To the relief of Ted, this has been resolved from regular flea treatments. During his stay he has also had a minor dental and was treated for a blocked bladder. One of the most common causes of this condition is thought to be caused by stress. All medical information will be passed to adopters following an initial meeting.
