Introducing you to our handsome boy Bailey.
Bailey came into our animal hospital as an injured stray. He had wounds to his face which turned out to be ringworm (a fungal skin infection). Bailey has since been treated for this and subsequent tests have come back negative. Bailey also had his fur clipped as was quite matted, so he is not quite his full dashing self yet, but he is already a beauty, so imagine what he will look like once his fur has grown back! (He is a domestic short hair).
Bailey has settled in with us really well, he is a confident friendly boy who will approach you straight away for attention. When he first arrived he was a little bit more independent but since time has gone on he has shown his true affectionate side. He will gently head bump you and purr away to show how happy he is and he also likes to tell you about his day! He is a foodie cat and adores his food and treats - he was a stray after all! But hopefully in time once he knows he has a regular diet he will slow down a little. He is a clever clogs and enjoys using a puzzle feeder which also helps to slow his eating down. He will play with toys but only really interactively with a teaser toy - we are yet to see him play alone.
He could live with older primary school age children and potentially another cat or cat savvy dog.
Bailey is a lovely young lad and can't wait to be someone's new best friend!
