Billy was signed over to our care by previous owners; he had an injury to his front leg, but thankfully with time and medication this has now resolved. He has also had some dental treatment, which has healed really well.
Billy is very easy to recognise as he has a half tail - something he already had when he came into us. But his unique looks are just one part of what makes this cheeky chap so special!
Let us tell you a little bit about Billy. Billy is a sweet lad who definitely knows his own mind. When Billy is in the mood for fuss, he can be absolutely lovely. He’ll happily give you gorgeous head bumps and enjoy some attention. However, if he decides that fuss time is over, you may receive a little bop as a gentle reminder that you have overstepped the mark! And then off he trots to do his own thing, because obviously he has important cat business to attend to. Of course, he may well come back a few minutes later with a big head bump; just to remind you that he can touch you, but you can only touch him when he gives you permission! But seriously, Billy really does enjoy affection and will reward you with lots of lovely head bumps in return. He absolutely adores lick-e-lix treats too, so these are a great way to win him over and build that special bond.
We haven’t really seen much of Billy’s playful side while he has been with us, but we think this may well develop once he is settled and feeling comfortable in his new home.
Billy is definitely a cat with character. He’s looking for someone who will appreciate his independent streak, respect his boundaries and, most importantly, understand that Billy is very much the manager of this operation.
In return, you’ll get a handsome, quirky lad who will happily give you head bumps, enjoy some fuss and keep you thoroughly entertained - just remember to follow the rules!
Rule number one: Billy decides.
Rule number two: see rule number one.
Despite his cheeky side, Billy really does enjoy affection and has plenty of love to give. So if he sounds like your kind of guy then apply below.
