Meet Callie 💛
Callie is a beautiful 3-year-old Cane Corso with a sensitive soul and a playful spirit. This lovely girl may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her time and patience and you’ll discover a total love bug with a real zest for life.
Callie came into our care when her previous owner was no longer able to cope, and she required ongoing eye surgeries. We’re happy to say she has now fully recovered and is feeling great, ready to start her next chapter in a forever home.
Once she feels safe, Callie’s personality truly shines. She adores affection, will happily snuggle up for sofa cuddles, and loves to let loose with joyful zoomies when she’s off lead. Soft toys are another favourite – she’s always up for a game or a carry-around teddy!
Callie previously lived with other dogs, but she currently finds them quite overwhelming and a little scary. She is able to walk calmly at a distance and has shown some curiosity about making dog friends, but she’s not quite ready for close interactions yet. For now, she will need to be the only dog in the home, with the potential to build positive relationships at her own pace in the future.
Due to her size and bouncy nature, Callie would be best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy teenagers (late secondary age) who are confident around large breeds. She’s looking for a home that can offer a balance of calm and adventure – someone who will take her on daily outings while also providing her with an environment where she can relax and feel secure.
Callie is a big, soft-hearted girl who just needs a little time to trust – but once she does, she’ll reward you with endless love, loyalty, and plenty of cuddles.
Could you be the one to give Callie the safe, loving home she deserves?
