About Me

Breed: Lion head
Colour: Brown
Age: 2 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI03215

This handsome male bunny is Cricket. He came into our care with several others back in December as part of a cruelty investigation where their needs weren't being met.

Cricket is a cheeky chappy and he will occasionally assert his dominance when in his territory but really he is just keeping a watchful eye on you. However, we think in a home with larger space he will learn to overcome this, he has already improved from being moved to larger accommodation at the centre. He makes us laugh as he will quite often sit in his hayrack watching everything that is going on around him - nosey parker!

He enjoys taking veggies from you and will come over to you when you approach him.

We think Cricket would thrive in an indoor home with plenty to do but would equally enjoy an outdoor lifestyle. He could live with children of a primary school age or older (if present). He is looking for a neutered female bun-friend to share his new life with. He has recently been neutered so will need to be kept separate from the female bunny for around 6 weeks.

Rabbits are active, inquisitive animals and need lots of space to perform all their natural behaviours such as running, jumping, digging, playing and exploring. It is recommended that a pair of medium-sized rabbits should be housed in an area measuring at least 3m x 2m x 1m (L x W x H) which incorporates an integral shelter measuring at least 1m x 2m x 0.75m (L x W x H) and a large space for them to exercise. Rabbits should have permanent access to all areas of their housing to allow them to perform the behaviours they want to, when they want to.

PLEASE NOTE - Our centre is appointment only. We receive a large number of applications for each animal, if you have not heard within 7 days of submitting your application form you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, please keep a check on the website as this is updated daily.
