About Me

Breed: Dogue de Bordeaux
Colour: Red
Age: 2 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI03565

Let's give a warm welcome to Esmè, our beautiful, almost 3-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux ready to find her forever home!

Poor Esmè came into kennels through no fault of her own after her owner could no longer meet her needs. She was underweight, had some skin issues and was understandably a little bewildered. It didn't take long for her to show that she’s a cuddly, affectionate soul though who also has a wonderfully playful side! Esmè loves chasing after a toy and will happily show off her fun, bouncy personality during playtime.

After some TLC, she is now a healthy 40kg—which her strength on walks demonstrates! She is trained to wear a Dogmatic head collar and responds well with the right guidance, so she will do well with a confident handler. Once she’s had her fun, she settles nicely in her kennel and shows she has a calm, content side too.

Esmè could live with children of secondary school age or older who understand that she’s a big, strong lady with lots of enthusiasm. She is friendly with other dogs and has the potential to live with another dog, pending successful introductions. If you’re looking for a big-hearted best friend, Esmè might just be your perfect match.
