Harry is a very sweet and gentle guinea pig who is happiest when he’s comfortable, cosy and close to his favourite people. He’s definitely more of a “good nap” kind of guy than a “let’s play!” kind of guy!

Harry absolutely loves a good snooze and can often be found curled up in a fleece bed, relaxing on the corner of the human bed, or even snuggled up in a cosy jumper. 🥰

And when it comes to food, Harry is a true foodie! He loves his snacks and is very good at making sure his humans know when vegetable time is running late. He also believes that if you’re having a snack, it’s only fair that he gets one too! His favourite treat is pepper, although he’s a big fan of just about anything tasty.

Harry can be a little shy at first, but food is definitely the quickest way to win him over! He may need a couple of days to settle into his new surroundings, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality really starts to shine.

Harry has recently been neutered, so in the future he could potentially live happily alongside a suitable group of female guinea pigs, following the appropriate bonding process.

"Guinea pigs are social animals and should not live alone. They should live with at least one other compatible friendly guinea pig for companionship.
The accommodation absolute minimum area requirements for a pair of guinea pigs is 120cm x 60cm (4ft x2ft)
A MALE PAIR should have at least 180cm x 60cm(5ft x2ft) to help avoid territorial disputes between them.
The more space you can provide for guinea pigs bigger is better, to keep them happy,active, and help prevent bickering. The accommodation should be on one level and not a tiered hutch with levels as guinea pigs are ground dwellers, not very agile when it comes to ramps.
Guinea pigs will also appreciate an extra secure run on a grassy area in the garden for extra enrichment and exercise when weather allows."

PLEASE NOTE - Our centre is appointment only. We ideally like cattery/small animals to go home within one week of application (however, this may be evaluated on a case by case basis) - so please only apply if you are in a position to adopt within a reasonable time frame. Due to a high volume of applications and emails we are unable to discuss the animals any further until we have received your completed application form. We receive a large number of applications for each animal, if you have not heard within 7 days of submitting your application form you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, please keep a check on the website as this is updated daily.
