Meet Kaya!

Kaya is a bright and energetic 4-year-old mixed breed looking for an active home where she can truly thrive. Full of personality and always eager to learn, Kya is an intelligent girl who already knows lots of tricks and loves showing them off for her favourite people.

Kaya came into our care from a multi-animal household where the dogs were understandably struggling to live together peacefully. Because of this, she is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and enjoy all the attention to herself.

She is a friendly and affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. Kya enjoys being active and absolutely loves spending time in our secure off-lead areas where she can zoom around to her heart’s content. She can be strong on the lead at times, so her new family should be prepared to continue her training and provide plenty of physical and mental stimulation.

Kaya would suit a home with children of secondary school age or older, if any are present. She would also benefit from someone being around for the majority of the day initially while she settles in, helping her build confidence and bond with her new family.

With the right guidance, consistency, and love, Kaya will make a fun, loyal, and rewarding companion for a family ready to give her the fresh start she deserves.
