This purrrrfect duo are Luna and Leo. They were signed over from a multi cat household of over 20 cats!
Luna and Leo are mother and son; we initially thought about separating them as naturally when kittens grow up, their moms usually lose interest, however, Luna and Leo are different - they have a very special bond that we can't bear to break.
Luna is around 5 years old and Leo is around 3 months old. Luna was in need of a dental and is left with only 2 teeth! Leo has been in reasonably good health apart from some initial diarrhoea.
Both Luna and Leo are timid cats but Luna is such a sweetheart, she adores all the fuss you can give! She is just so gentle, warm and loving, it’s no wonder her little sidekick can't leave her side. Leo is a timid little guy and he gains so much confidence from having his mama bear nearby. He has come on in leaps and bounds since coming into us but he is still wary of handling and will run and hide initially but he soon comes out to say hello - he is so adorable. He will then happily sit and play with you and gradually move closer to you as curiosity gets the better of him, but the process is slow so he will need a patient owner who can give him the time he needs to allow his confidence to continue to flourish. They adore napping together, exploring together and playing together.
They will need a home with older children (if present) and would prefer not to live with a dog. Both of them need a home that makes them feel safe and secure but once they have settled in we know they will blossom into the most wonderful companions. If you could offer this gorgeous twosome a home together they would be forever grateful.
