Meet lovely Lola. Lola came into our care after her owners could no longer cope with multiple dogs in the home; she was underweight, bewildered and in need of TLC. Lola has shown herself to be a loving and sensitive girl and when she came out of her shell she also showed her fun-loving side - no one does Zoomies like Lola! As a lurcher cross Husky, she is an interesting breed mix with personality traits from both sides and a tail with a whole personality of it's own! Lola is very expressive of what she's thinking using her tail and other body language and this really a loveable and unique side to her character. While she can be a little shy with unfamiliar people initially, after a gentle intro she will become inquisitive and when you're firm friends Lola is very affectionate and loving. Sofa cuddles are a must! She is an intelligent girl who learns quickly with positive reinforcement training which can easily be continued in her new home. Lola can be friendly and social with other dogs but we feel she needs to be the only dog in her new home to help her settle in fully. There could, however, be potential for Lola to live with another suitably matched dog further down the line. We are looking for a quiet adult home for Lola (potentially older teens in the right home) with relatively low leaving hours, low visitor numbers and a predictable routine to help her settle in. Lola will be a gentle and loving companion for some lucky adopters; please get in touch if you can help Lola find her happy ending and new family that she is so in need of.
