About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black
Age: 11 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI04941

This handsome beast of a boy is the lovely Lucas. Lucas came into our care after his previous owner sadly passed away. Lucas had no next of kin so found himself in our care.

Lucas is an older gent at the age of 10 and was in need of a dental which he has recovered from very well. When Lucas first arrived he was understandably bewildered and a tad grumpy but after a settling in period we saw past the tough guy exterior and found him to be really sweet and such a fuss pot! Lucas likes to keep himself tucked away, but offer him your hand and he’ll happily headbutt it for attention. Before long, he’ll be rolling around in his bed, belly in the air, enjoying every bit of fuss you’re willing to give him! He also get the dribbles to show you how happy he is!

He still has a little way to go before he reveals his full personality, but we feel he has reached the point where a cattery environment may not allow him to progress much further. What Lucas really needs now is a permanent, loving home where he can continue building his confidence and show his new family just how wonderful he is.

At 7kg, Lucas is definitely a chonky boy! He’s currently on a diet and, although the weight is coming off slowly, he is responding well. His new family will need to continue helping him shed those extra grams and keep him on track.

Lucas’s ideal home would consist of adult only as we don’t feel he would like to live with children or dogs.

Lucas previously lived in a stable, loving home until sadly losing his owner, and his whole world was turned upside down. He deserves the chance to feel safe and loved again and to enjoy the happy life he once knew.

Could you be the special person who gives Lucas his second chance?
