Our sweet natured Mariah came into us as an unwell stray so was admitted to the animal hospital. When she came into the cattery she still required a dental, which she has now had which resulted in the removal of 8 teeth.
Mariah has always had a friendly, calm nature, however as she was very quiet in the cattery while awaiting her dental we placed her in a foster home.
In her foster home she is a lot happier and settled in straight away. Very affectionate towards everyone, thriving with the attention, enjoying having a lap to snuggle into, purring away. She soon became a firm favourite in the home.
Her playful side soon emerged and she loves it, especially teaser wands and balls, the noisy jingly ones especially. She has great ball skills bashing them around the house. She is entertaining playing interactively but can also entertain herself. Her happy chirps when she has a favourite toy are adorable.
As Mariah is such a social cat she requires a home with someone who will be home a good part of the day to keep her company. She isn't a demanding cat and respects you if you are busy doing other things, but who wouldn't want the excuse to put your feet up and have Mariah at your side, or be entertained by her hilarious playfulness.
She would thrive in a family home so she gets lots of attention and choice of laps to chill out on. She is also a very nosy cat and will enjoy investigating and being involved with family, so remember to check your wardrobes, she loves exploring those.
Mariahs fosterer says she has been the perfect, well mannered house guest, a pleasure to care for and is sad to see her go. It's now time for her to find her forever home and whoever gets to adopt Mariah will be very lucky.
