Meowth came into our care when she was just a few days old. She was rescued from a multi-cat household where there were simply too many cats for her needs to be met, so her and her 2 siblings were placed into a loving foster home where they could receive the round-the-clock care, attention and socialisation they needed to thrive.
She is the last of the litter to now find her furever home!
Since coming back into the cattery Meowth has been quite shy with human interaction, she will happily play but is still gaining her confidence around us. In the foster home she was the confident leader of the trio and is usually the one responsible for starting all the shenanigans! Once settled and given the patience she needs, we are sure to see her personality bloom in a home.
She is incredibly curious, adventurous and playful, and loves climbing and exploring everything around her. She particularly enjoys play-fighting her brothers – and is very proud when she comes out on top! Meowth is still a little shy when it comes to human affection, due to her timid nature and her love with playing with her brothers, we think she would benefit from living with an existing cat in the home.
Meowth is playful and will happily spend much of her awake time chasing, wrestling and play-fighting with siblings and we are sure within time she will become a little softie.
Meowth has had a wonderful start in the foster home and will need adopters who understand that she may need a little time and patience to fully settle and build confidence with people. She will need someone at home for part of the day to continue providing her with companionship, reassurance and positive socialisation.
