About Me

Breed: Lop
Colour: Brown
Age: 2 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI02401

This lovely little lady came into our care after being signed over by her previous owner along with several other rabbits. Since arriving, Nessa has spent time in a nurturing foster home where she’s really come into her own and shown us what a delightful character she is.

Nessa is an independent, inquisitive girl who has grown wonderfully confident around everyday household life. Rather than hiding away, she’s often up on her hind legs having a good look around to see what’s going on! She especially enjoys being hand-fed her favourite veggies and is very well behaved when handled — she’s easy to pick up when needed.

She has lived with other rabbits before, and we would love for her to be matched with a friendly male companion so they can keep each other company and explore their home and garden together once bonding is complete.

While she isn’t suited as a young children’s pet, Nessa is gentle and sociable. She happily hops over to say hello when children sit quietly nearby and will even climb onto laps for a stroke or a treat. When she’s had enough attention, she simply retreats under her hide with some hay for a peaceful munch.

Nessa would thrive in a calm home with respectful older children and a bunny friend to share life with.

Rabbits are active, inquisitive animals and need lots of space to perform all their natural behaviours such as running, jumping, digging, playing and exploring. It is recommended that a pair of medium-sized rabbits should be housed in an area measuring at least 3m x 2m x 1m (L x W x H) which incorporates an integral shelter measuring at least 1m x 2m x 0.75m (L x W x H) and a large space for them to exercise. Rabbits should have permanent access to all areas of their housing to allow them to perform the behaviours they want to, when they want to PLEASE NOTE - Our centre is appointment only. We receive a large number of applications for each animal, if you have not heard within 7 days of submitting your application form you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, please keep a check on the website as this is updated daily.
