Paris originally arrived in our care as a tiny kitten as part of an ongoing prosecution case. When she came to us, she had a fractured leg that had sadly been left untreated by her previous owner. After months of rest, care, and recovery, Paris healed beautifully and was soon racing around like the energetic, playful kitten she was always meant to be.
Due to the length of the legal case, Paris has spent over a year in a loving foster home, where her personality has truly blossomed.
Her foster carer says:
“Paris has been with us for a while and during that time she’s grown in confidence. She’s not overly keen on fuss but likes to be close to you. She’s particularly taken a shine to my adult son and enjoys perching on his shoulder.
Paris loves to play fetch with earplugs — I’ve tried lots of other toys but earplugs are definitely her favourite! She also loves hiding in boxes and pouncing on anything she can find.
She enjoys looking out of the window or sitting in the conservatory chattering away at anything that moves. I think she will really enjoy finally being able to get outside and explore.
She likes to try and play with our older cat, but our cat is a little too old and set in her ways to match Paris’s energy.
When we first had Paris she was a little crazy and would nip, but she’s improved a lot with toy distraction — although sometimes toes and fingers are still just too tempting!
Paris startles quite easily, so I think she would suit a calm home without too many unpredictable noises.
Paris is a beautiful cat who, through no fault of her own, has been waiting far too long for her forever home. She truly deserves a home as special as she is.â€
Paris is now looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to grow in confidence at her own pace. She would love a calm environment with plenty of playtime, enrichment, and eventually safe outdoor access to explore the world around her.
If you’re looking for a quirky, playful companion with lots of character, Paris could be the perfect match.
