This handsome chonky boy is the delicious Sandy.
Sandy was an injured feeder cat who had a degloving injury to his tail, which resulted in a tail amputation. This has given him a unique look but it certainly hasn’t affected his personality. He also required a dental and needed one of his canines removed. He has recovered from both of these ailments and can't wait to be someone's new bestie.
Sandy is a real sweetheart, he can be a little timid initially but he soon understands we are all friends here, and it doesn't take him long to show his sweet affectionate soul. He does like to hide away (a little) under his cat fort, but when fuss is offered he creeps out bit by bit until he is fully emerged out of his safe space enjoying all the fuss on offer - he can't help but roll around getting all the cheek rubs on his chubby cheek chops!
Sandy will play with a little encouragement and we feel this will increase in the home once his confidence improves. Sandy would prefer not to live with very young children just so he can settle in at his pace. He was briefly rehomed but didn't enjoy the company of the family dogs, so he would prefer not to live with a dog or cat this time around.
Anyone who adopts Sandy will be very lucky indeed - he adores being in your company and we feel like he will make a purrfect companion.
