Meet Sheba ðŸ¾

Sheba came into our care after her previous owner sadly could no longer care for her. It was clearly a very upsetting and confusing time for her, and she found the cattery environment quite stressful, so we moved her into a loving foster home where she could relax, decompress, and enjoy one-to-one care.

It took Sheba a little while to settle, but once she began to feel safe her lovely personality started to shine through. She is a gentle, curious girl who likes to approach people in her own time. When she’s feeling brave, she’ll come over for attention and enjoys a fuss and gentle strokes. Like many cats, Sheba is very good at letting you know when she’s had enough — occasionally with a quick warning nibble — but she soon settles again and is happy to continue enjoying affection on her own terms.

Sheba enjoys playing with dangly toys and absolutely loves her treats. She’s also quite the foodie and definitely has expensive taste when it comes to her meals!

We feel Sheba would thrive in a calm, quiet home with an experienced cat owner who understands feline body language and will allow her the time and space she needs to build confidence. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, although a very calm and relaxed feline companion may be considered. Because she can become overwhelmed, we think she would be best suited to a home with older children or, ideally, no children.

Once Sheba trusts you, she is a rewarding and sweet companion who simply needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to let her blossom at her own pace. â¤ï¸
