Squeegee came into us as an injured stray. He had suffered a fracture to his pelvis which our hospital repaired. He had to have weeks of cage rest and has now healed and is enjoying his freedom once again. He still has some functional lameness to his leg but this should hopefully improve to some degree with more use and rebuilding of muscle in that leg.
Squeegee is a funny little guy, he can be ever so sweet and gives lots of head bumps, biscuit making and purring and enjoying lots of fuss but then other times he can get overwhelmed. I guess he is just one of those guys that likes to give mixed messages! Otherwise he is quite playful and enjoys playing with teaser toys and balls and like most stray cats he adores his food!
Squeegee is a little conflicted but ultimately we know he has a real sweet side, so we are hopeful in a home and with more space he will feel more relaxed. He would prefer not to live with young children and could potentially live with another cat or calm cat friendly dog (with slow introductions).
