About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Tortoiseshell
Age: 3 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI04528

Let us introduce you to our sweet little Susie.

Susie has quite a sad tale to tell. She was signed over to our care with 2 other cats. They were living in unsuitable conditions and there were concerns that she may have suffered physical abuse as well.

When Susie arrived she appeared to be a shell of her former self. She was so shut down and was in need of bilateral entropian surgery and also dental surgery with multiple teeth extractions - thankfully she has now recovered from her surgeries and her happiness seems to be improving everyday!

When Susie first arrived at the animal centre she struggled but fast forward a few weeks and she is so much happier. Susie is a very timid girl but once she feels comfortable and safe in her space she very quickly comes out to say hello! She pops her little head out from under her cat fort and will accept all the love you can give to her. She will headbump away and roll around, leaning into your hand for more and will even feel comfortable enough to come out from her hiding space and mooch around her pod. Thankfully, she is learning that she can trust humans, however, staying in a cattery isn’t the best thing for her and we believe she will do better in a loving home environment.

Susie will need a home with adult owners who are happy to go at her pace and allow her to flourish in her own time. She could potentially live with other cats as she has done previously but we think she would prefer not to live with a dog.

Susie is a supawstar and so very much deserves her happy ending. If you have got space in your home and heart for our sweet little Susie then dont delay apply today 🙂
