About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Tortoiseshell
Age: 3 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI03961

Thunder came into our care back in February with a litter of 4 newbormn kittens, according to the caller she had been a stray in the area for about 2 years. Whislt she was bursing her babies we placed her in a loving foster home until the kittens were old enough for rehoning and to also help her gain confidence and trust in people.

This is what her foster carer has to say about her:
Thunder has been a wonderful mum to her four kittens and it has been a privilege to watch her confidence grow during her time in foster care.

When Thunder first arrived, she was understandably shy and felt safest staying in the spare room. Over time, her confidence has blossomed and she now happily explores the rest of the house, follows me from room to room, and enjoys taking naps on the bed. Seeing her grow in confidence has been incredibly rewarding.

Thunder is a sweet and gentle girl who enjoys affection once she trusts you. She particularly loves chin scratches and has the sweetest way of asking for more fuss. She will often stand behind me with her back arched, waiting for pets, or give little head bumps into the air or on my hand to let me know she’d like some attention. As she’s become more comfortable, she has also started rolling over for tummy rubs and making little biscuits with her paws when she’s feeling relaxed and content.

She can be quite chatty too, often giving little meows when she’s enjoying attention and wants the fuss to continue. Her sweet little purr lives up to her namesake too and she is also very fond of treats, especially Lik-e-Lix and Dreamies.

While Thunder may be shy initially in her new home, I have no doubt that with kindness, understanding, and time, she will continue to flourish. You will be rewarded with a loving, affectionate companion and will have the joy of watching her confidence continue to grow.

After dedicating herself to raising her kittens, Thunder is more than ready to be someone’s beloved pet and receive all the love and attention she deserves.
