Meet Tyson! He is a Gentle Giant in the making! Tyson is a 10-month-old Boxer crossbreed with a truly sweet and loving nature. Despite his size, he’s very much still a big puppy at heart, and he’s looking for a home that understands and appreciates the unique qualities of his breed.

Tyson hasn’t had the best start in life and came into our care after being found living in poor conditions with his sister. Because of this, it’s clear he hasn’t had much exposure to the outside world yet. New experiences can feel a little overwhelming for him, and he may show some anxiety—but with the right guidance, patience, and reassurance, we’re confident he will grow into a happy, confident companion.

He is a gentle boy who forms strong bonds and would thrive with an experienced owner or family familiar with large or guardian breeds, especially Cane Corsos. Tyson will need continued support with the basics he may have missed, such as toilet training and positive socialisation.

Tyson will benefit from someone at home most of the time (especially initially, with low leaving hours) and an experienced, patient owner/family committed to ongoing training and confidence-building. This sweet boy will appreciate a calm and structured environment where he can settle at his own pace. Children can be considered if they are of late primary school age and comfortable around large dogs.

Tyson has shown he can interact nicely with other dogs, but he can sometimes find interactions a little overwhelming right now. For this reason, he would benefit from being the only dog in the home initially while he settles. With time and the right introductions, we believe he could enjoy dog friends in the future.

This handsome young boy is a wonderful large puppy with so much potential. With the right home, he will truly flourish and become an incredibly loyal and loving companion 🐾
