***Indoor only cat - FIV pawsitive***

This one eyed handsome boy came to us back in January after he was found with a severe face lesion. He received treatment at our hospital and showed himself to be a very brave boy! He is a special little survivor and now that he is all healed, he is looking for his forever home. He came into us already having one eye (hence we named him Uno) so he must have been loved by someone at some point during his life. Unfortunately he wasn't microchipped so we were unable to trace an owner.

During our routine tests, we found Uno to be FIV positive (Feline ImmUNOdeficiency Virus). This means that he now needs to be rehomed as an indoor cat or with a cat proof garden/catio - we do think he would really like this if someone already has this or is willing to invest in him! He will also need to be the only cat in the home.

Uno loves a fuss and being around people, but he has been known to get a little overstimulated at times and let you know he has had enough with a little nip! This has only been observed on a couple of occasions though so with more space and time out the cattery we are hopeful this will help! He is a confident boy and should be happy indoors providing there is plenty of enrichment to keep him occupied. As he is such a social butterfly, he would benefit from having someone around a lot of the time to play with and keep him company. He is known to be foody and can get over eager around food - he was a street cat after all, he needs time to understand he doesn't have to fend for himself ever again!

We feel Uno would prefer to live in a house with plenty of space and if someone would like to invest in a catio or cat proof garden then this is a bonus! He will need plenty of rotated enrichment to keep him occupied and entertained. Uno loves to play, so plenty of different teaser toys ensuring sessions end with a treat to prevent frustration!

Poor Uno has been through so much in his life but he can't wait to be someones new bestie.
