Say hello to sweet little Aria. She was removed from her previous home after she was discovered very underweight and with a skin condition but after a little bit of TLC she is now ready to search for her new forever home.

Aria is a sweet but nervous girl who is looking for that extra special home that are able to support her in her journey to building up her confidence. Once she has had a chance to get to know somebody she warms up and will seek out affection and so we have no doubts that once she is settled into a home her true personality will only continue to blossom. She will need adopters who have experience with or have thoroughly researched nervous dogs to help to slowly introduce her to the sounds and sights of the home to help her learn that these things aren't so scary after all. She has shown some typical sighthound traits around wildlife and small animals so adopters should be willing to take this into consideration when choosing dog walking routes.

Aria has mixed with many different dogs here at the center and is somewhat of a social butterfly! She adores the company of other dogs and really gains confidence when around them. She can be quite excitable and bouncy in the way that she plays so could live with another dog that is tolerant of this behaviour. If not living with another dog she would love the opportunity to have dog walking friends out and about.

She cannot live with cats or small animals and due to her nerves would suit a home where any children are aged 14+ and can interact with her appropriately.
