Meet the sweetest boy Charlie. He was removed from his previous home due to being severely underweight, but now he’s put on a few pounds he’s ready to find his forever home!

Charlie may be an older boy, but he certainly hasn't got the memo and this little whipper snapper has certainly got that spring in his step! Charlie loves to play with his toys, running around and throwing them in the air and performing in the occasional barrel roll! On top of that Charlie loves his treats which makes training with him a breeze. He loves learning new tricks and showing off the skills he's already learnt such as handler focus around other dogs, sit, paw and dropping a toy for a treat. Because of this Charlie is looking for active adopters who enjoy going on long walks or have an interest in training so can provide this for him in his forever home.

At times Charlie can be reactive towards other dogs, usually because he wants to say hello. He has worked really hard on learning to be calm around other dogs and enjoys walking with his friends, but we think Charlie will benefit from settling into the home better as an only dog. Charlie can find new places very over exciting so in order to help him settle in we would be looking for adopters who are willing to do some pre-adoption home visits so he can get used to his new home before the big day!

Charlie is such a sweet boy and will make a wonderful companion. This boy really deserves to find his forever home, if you think you could offer Charlie the perfect active retirement home then please send us an application.
