Everyone meet the beautiful leia! She arrived to us with her two siblings after they were found unattended in a caravan.
Due to her sad history, it is likely that she hasn't experienced much of the outside world and isn't used to walking on a lead. She has gained a lot of confidence but is still a nervous girl who will need patient adopters who are willing to introduce her to things at her own pace.
Leia may be shy at first but it doesn't take her long before she will be all over you asking for cuddles! She is such a sweet and affectionate girl and will make a wonderful companion. Once she is comfortable she enjoys running around the fields and sometimes plays with toys.
During her time with us Leia has mixed with many male and female dogs here at the centre. She has shown to enjoy the company of calm dogs and even gains confidence from but would prefer to be the olny dog in the home.
Due to her nerves we believe Leia can live with children aged 14+ who understand to give her space when needed. But no cats please.

10.30am-3.30pm Tue-Sun (closed Mon). Also closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day. We prioritise animals we have rescued from cruelty and neglect, which means we cannot take in unwanted pets.
