Mabel came to us after she was neglected and found in very poor condition. She is now eager to find her forever home.
She is a lovely, gentle girl who has grown so much in confidence during her time with us. She can be a little unsure when meeting new people at first, but with some tasty treats she soon warms up and will happily lean in for a fuss.
She is a pleasure to walk and enjoys getting out and about, walking nicely on the lead and having the occasional burst of zoomies when she’s off lead in a secure area. She absolutely loves her treats, which makes it easy to continue building her confidence and bond with her new family.
Mabel enjoys the company of calm dogs and is happy to walk alongside them, sometimes engaging in gentle play. However, very excitable or bouncy dogs can make her feel a little overwhelmed, so she would be best suited to living with a calm male dog or as the only dog in the home.
She may be able to live with sensible children aged 10+ who can understand that she can be a little nervous at times and will need patience while she settles in.

10.30am-3.30pm Tue-Sun (closed Mon). Also closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day. We prioritise animals we have rescued from cruelty and neglect, which means we cannot take in unwanted pets.
