This sweet girl is Marmite. She arrived at Blackberry Farm after being removed from a multi-animal household but is now on the search for her new forever home.
Marmite is a sensitive soul who is currently finding the cattery environment a little scary. She much prefers to spend hr time tucked up in her bed where she feels the safest but she does enjoy when staff and volunteers spend time with her and is slowly starting to enjoy the attention that she is given. She has shown to absolutely love being gently groomed and will often slowly roll onto her side or give gentle headbutts to keep going. We have no doubts that once she is settled into a home her true personality will start to bloom as we are already seeing glimpses of it here at the center.
She cannot live with dogs as these would be too overwhelming for her but as she has previously lived with cats she could potentially live with a calm male cat as long as adopters are confident in introducing them in the home. Due to her reserved nature she would suit a home where any children are aged 12+ and can give her space to settle in.

10.30am-3.30pm Tue-Sun (closed Mon). Also closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day. We prioritise animals we have rescued from cruelty and neglect, which means we cannot take in unwanted pets.
