Meet the lovely Percy! He came into Blackberry Farm after being neglected, but he is now ready to find his forever home.
Percy has settled in well and is a friendly boy. He can be nervous and head shy with new people, we've found he is more nervous with men in particular. He prefers to do his own thing and have a good sniff around .
Percy has mixed with dogs here at the centre. He interacts well with other dogs with the occasional sniff, but pretty much keeps to himself. He can live with another calm dog, as long as long as the adopters are confident managing this in the home, pending a successful mix.
Percy is looking for someone with previous knowledge and experience in chow/sharpei breeds and behaviours. Due to his nervousness, he can live with children 14+, who know when to give him space. He cannot live with cats.

10.30am-3.30pm Tue-Sun (closed Mon). Also closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day. We prioritise animals we have rescued from cruelty and neglect, which means we cannot take in unwanted pets.
