Meet our stunning girl, Sasha! She arrived at Blackberry Farm after being neglected and underfed, but she is now healthy and ready for her forever loving home.

Sasha was a little nervous when she first arrived but she quickly adapted and is now settling in well. She is a chill dog who likes to be independent on walks and once she is comfortable she loves to seek fuss. She prefers to greet people first before they give her any attention, so she would benefit from a home that has an understanding of this and is willing to take things at her pace. She is a clever girl and knows some basic commands but would benefit from ongoing training to keep her physically and mentally stimulated.

She has been mixed with other dogs here at the center and has made plenty of friends. She walks really well on and off lead with other dogs as she tends to do her own thing, but can be playful depending on the dog. She has shown that she prefers calmer dogs / similar personality to her, so she would be able to live with a calm dog, as long as adopters are confident in being able to manage them in the home.

She can live with children aged 16+ who know how to appropriately interact with a larger dog, but unfortunately she cannot live with cats.
