Meet Duke ðŸ¤ðŸ¾
Duke is a handsome 4-year-old lad who’s feeling a bit nervous and unsure of the world right now. New situations can be quite scary for him so he's looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can take life at his own pace.
While Duke may be shy at first, he does have a soft spot — food is definitely the way to his heart! With a bit of patience (and a few tasty treats), he can be won over and start to build trust with his humans. He'll need adopters who understand that confidence takes time and are happy to let him go at his own pace.
Duke would need to be the only pet in the home so he can have a peaceful environment to feel safe and secure to relearn how to trust people again.
If you can give Duke the time and patience he needs, (as well as some occasional treats) then he could be the one for you!
