Meet Our Lovely Deaf Boy 💙

This lovely boy is one of those dogs who seems to have a real gift for making people smile. Despite everything he has been through, he is incredibly friendly, affectionate and people-loving, and he absolutely adores being around his humans.

He is currently enjoying life as a reception dog, where he has become a wonderful welcoming face to everyone who walks through the door. He greets people beautifully and has shown just how much he enjoys human company.

He is deaf, so his new family will need to be understanding of this and willing to communicate with him in different ways. He is a clever boy, and with patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, we know he can continue to thrive.

He walks well on the lead, is social with other dogs and housetrained, making him a lovely all-round companion. We feel he could potentially live with children, provided they are respectful around dogs and introductions are handled carefully. He may also be able to share his home with another suitable dog.

His ideal home would be one where someone is around for most of the day, as this affectionate boy really enjoys company. Like any dog who has experienced upheaval, he will need time, patience and understanding while he settles into his new home. He deserves the chance to decompress, build trust and discover what it feels like to truly belong.

The saddest part of his story is that he didn't deserve any of this. He was abandoned in his previous home after his family left him behind. We can only imagine how confusing and frightening that must have been for a dog who simply wants to be with people.

Now, all he needs is someone to see what we see in him.... a wonderful, friendly boy who has so much love to give and who deserves a family that will never leave him behind again. ��
