Meet Henry, a vibrant and affectionate bull-breed mix who is now searching for his forever home. With his expressive eyes, stocky build, and a tail that never stops wagging, Henry is the ultimate companion for anyone looking to add a burst of joy to their life.
Henry would thrive in an active household where he can receive plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Whilst in our care we have noticed that men can make him nervous at first. The turning point however is to take things slow and offer tasty treats then he transforms into the happiest, wiggliest dog imaginable. A household with a predictable routine is therefore preferred, as it will help him settle into your daily life.
Because of his enthusiastic play style and solid size, he would be best suited in a home with secondary school aged children (10 yrs +) who can handle his bouncy personality.
He is eager to play and is a pleasure to play games with especially when he shows he's cheeky personality and runs off with the toy in the hope you will then chase him and play tuggy games.
Potential to live with another dog with managed introductions and if we feel the match is right when you come to visit him at the centre.
Potential to live with a cat if slow introductions are well managed.
Henry has a heart of gold and a lifetime of loyalty just waiting to be given to the right family. This sweet boy is ready to join your family so make a space for him to curl up next to you and fill your home with love and warmth.
