Lola is a beautiful, middle-aged bull breed with a huge heart! She arrived in our care severely emaciated alongside her daughter, having clearly known hardship and hunger. Thanks to lots of love and care, Lola is now back to a healthy weight and ready to begin the next chapter of her life, one filled with comfort, security and kindness.

Lola is incredibly friendly with people and adores attention. She is still very active and full of life, often bursting into joyful zoomies and bouncy enthusiasm that can’t help but make you smile. Despite everything she’s been through, her spirit shines brightly.

Due to her past, Lola can be a little under-socialised with other dogs and is very over-stimulated in kennel environments, which can make mixing with dogs challenging at first. However, she is highly food-motivated and focuses beautifully when treats are involved, making training both fun and rewarding. With time, patience and positive reinforcement, we truly believe her dog interactions will continue to improve once she’s settled in a calm home and gradually exposed to others.

Food is understandably a big deal for Lola, she had to learn to search for food just to survive. Because of this, she can be a bit manic around meals, so her new family will need to be mindful about keeping food securely out of reach and maintaining clear boundaries.

Lola is looking for a home with older children, no other pets and adopters who understand rescue dogs and are willing to give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe. In return, she will offer endless affection, loyalty and love.

Lola is a true rescue dog with a heartbreaking past but she has so much love left to give. She deserves a home where she will finally know nothing but warmth, patience and happiness.....Could that be with you?
