Louis is a handsome, roughly 2-year-old male bursting with energy and personality. He came into our care weighing a shocking 11kg!!! He now weighs 21kg!! After a tough time of severe neglect, he is finally feeling fit again and looking for a loving forever home where he can truly thrive.

This goofy, medium-sized lad loves meeting new people and will happily make friends wherever he goes. He has a laid-back nature but would benefit from some continued training to help him learn to stay calm and focused, especially in exciting situations.

Louis is a big foodie and is currently on a specialist hypoallergenic diet, we advise new adopters to continue this to keep him happy and healthy. You may have also noticed that one of his eyes is smaller than the other. We believe this to be a congenital condition where his eye hasn't developed properly at birth.....It really does just add a bit more character to an already beautiful face!!
He would suit a home where he can enjoy plenty of one-to-one attention, as he can be quite vocal and has shown some signs of separation anxiety. With patience, consistency, and companionship, he has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Louis could potentially live with children of secondary school age, pending meets here at the centre. He would do best with a family who understands he’s still a young, energetic dog with a playful, sometimes goofy nature.

Loui has shown some lovely manners around other dogs however we feel a home as the only dog would suit him so he can have 100% attention on him.
