Mavis is a 1-year-old Cane Corso with eyes full of soul and a heart that's just waiting to belong to someone special.
Like many dogs of her breed, Mavis can be a little suspicious at first but once she decides you're her person, she loves you deeply and loyally. This sweet girl hasn't had the easiest start in life and has already been passed between three homes before coming to us, arriving underweight and in need of eye surgery. Despite it all, Mavis' gentle nature shines through.
She's incredibly affectionate once she trusts you, and she's eager to please making her very trainable for someone willing to put in the time and consistency she deserves. Mavis would thrive in a home experienced with large guarding breeds, where she can feel secure and understood.
She could live with older, dog-savvy children and, while she can struggle to express herself around other dogs, she's shown lovely positive signs when introduced slowly and carefully. With patience and the right guidance, she'll continue to blossom.
Mavis is not just a stunning looking girl, she's got the personality to match. She's been through a lot, but with the right person, her next chapter could be her happiest yet.
If you think you could be that person, her forever home, her safe place, please get in touch to meet this incredible girl.
Let Mavis show you what it means to be truly loved by a Cane Corso.
