Stuart is a playful and sweet 18-month-old boy who is looking for a very special forever home.

Sadly, Stuart hasn’t had the easiest start in life. He arrived at Block Fen following a period of neglect and, after spending some time in our care, he was placed into a loving foster home. It was there that Stuart’s wonderful personality really began to shine.

When Stuart first arrived, he was a very nervous boy who preferred to keep his distance from people. He would spend much of his time curled up in his bed, quietly watching the world go by. Since moving into foster care, Stuart has made fantastic progress. His playful and loving personality is beginning to emerge, and he is learning that people can be trusted and that the world can be a wonderful place.

Although Stuart can still be a little nervous, he now actively seeks out human interaction and really enjoys spending time with people. He loves playing with his favourite toys and is always happy to have some fun — although he sometimes just needs a little encouragement!

Stuart is also very quick to let you know when he’s happy, purring away contentedly while enjoying a big fuss. His confidence is slowly but surely growing, and we’re looking for a patient and understanding family who will give him the time, space and reassurance he needs to continue building his confidence at his own pace.
Stuart has already come such a long way, and we’re sure that with the right family, this lovely boy will continue to blossom.
