About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black
Age: 3 Years (approx)
Ref: ANI05045

This beautiful, brave boy is Turkey! He is a shy but nervous cat!

He came into our care very scared and we believe he had little contact limited contact with human interaction in his life time. Overtime we have shown Turkey that humans are not as scary as he thinks and has started to show his true colours! We are looking for potential adopters who can continue his journey to blossom into his true self!

When Turkey is calm and settled, we have found food and treats are truly the way to his heart! Once he has built trust with someone he will allow you to give him a gentle fuss or brush, especially loving a cheek rub. When he is a little unsure, he will prefer to observe from a safe distance while he builds confidence at his own pace. Because of this, Turkey would like a calm and patient home where his boundaries will be respected and he can settle in slowly without any pressure!

Turkey would benefit from experienced adopters who understand shy cats and are willing to give him the time, space, and reassurance he needs. A quiet home with plenty of hiding spots and a predictable routine would help him feel secure.

Turkey is looking for a pet free, adult-only household where he can have all the comfort and reassurance he needs.

The adoption fee is £85
