Meet Winston.... your new best friend in the making! 🐾

This handsome chap came into our care after his previous owner was sadly unable to meet his needs, and he arrived with an untreated skin condition. Thanks to lots of TLC, medication and plenty of pampering baths, Winston’s skin is now looking so much better and he’s ready to find the forever home he truly deserves!

Winston wasted no time settling in here at the centre. With his wagging tail and bright eyes, he’s made it very clear that he’s ready for a fresh start filled with adventure, affection and a never ending supply of tennis balls!

Whatever the weather, Winston is your go to walking buddy. Rain? Let’s splash! Sunshine? Even better! He absolutely loves exploring and burning off energy in our paddocks, especially if there’s a tennis ball involved and when food makes an appearance, Winston’s inner genius shines through... he’s already mastered “sit,” “lay down” and “speak,” and we’re certain this clever clogs has the potential to learn so much more in a home committed to continuing his training.

But Winston isn’t all zoomies and games. After a good walk, he transforms into a world-class cuddle champion. He adores attention and would happily snuggle up beside you or better yet, attempt to snooze on your lap although he doesn't always fit he seems to find a way!

As for his skin, Winston has been an absolute star with his treatment. He takes his medication like a pro and enjoys his medicated baths so much that he turns them into splash-time fun! He will need adopters who are committed to continuing his treatments at home and work alongside their own vets plan to keep him in tip-top condition. We’ll happily talk through everything you need to know to help Winston stay happy, healthy and comfortable.

Winston has been getting along well with other dogs here at the centre and has successfully lived with dogs before, so he may be able to share his new home with a canine companion following successful introductions. With his lovely, affectionate nature, we also believe he could live with older children who understand that he’s a bit of a lovable, slightly clumsy chap who might occasionally crash into things in his excitement!

Winston is ready to trade kennel life for cosy sofas, exciting walks and a family to call his own. Could your home be the one filled with cuddles and adventures that Winston has been waiting for?
