Meet Bonzo!

Bonzo is a 2 year old American Bulldog who has now begun the search for his forever home.

Poor Bonzo was found by one of our inspectors extremely underweight and locked in a small crate. Bonzo has now gained weight well and is ready to leave his past behind him.

Bonzo is such a wonderful boy, he's very dog sociable and has many canine friends here at the centre that he enjoys walking out with on lead. Bonzo is full of energy and is looking for an active adopter who can fulfill his physical needs. He can be strong on lead, but he has recently been learning to wear his Halti - he's picking this up very well and has proven he loves to learn! Bonzo is such a clever boy, he knows how to sit & give a paw - we think he'd love a new family who can also keep him mentally stimulated, he really enjoys interacting with his activity feeders and enrichment toys here at the centre.
As well as his amazing personality, Bonzo loves time spent with the staff and volunteers here at the centre - he's sure to make a great companion!

Bonzo is looking to be the only dog in the adoptive home at present, but we feel he may be able to live with another dog in the future once fully settled.

Bonzo could live with secondary school-aged children or above who have previous experience around larger dogs.
