Meet Patchie, a 2 year old bull breed!

Patchie came into our care with an injury to her leg that she had likely been living with since she was very young. Unfortunately, the leg was causing her ongoing pain and surgery was not an option, so the decision was made to amputate. Since then, Patchie has recovered brilliantly and has not let life on three legs slow her down.

When Patchie first arrived, the discomfort from her leg appeared to affect how she felt around other dogs and she was unsure about interacting with them. Since her surgery and recovery she has restarted her dog work and is becoming more comfortable around them. She is also fully muzzle trained and will happily wear her muzzle when out on walks.

Patchie is an incredibly affectionate girl who loves human company and attention. Because of her friendly nature with people, we feel she could live with children of secondary school age.

Patchie can be a bit of a lazy girl and does enjoy snoozing, a spot on a sofa would suit her nicely! But since she's young she also really loves to play with toys and have an occasional zoom, although slightly less quick now with only 3 legs.
