Meet the lovely Ruby!
Ruby is a 4 year old Labrador who has finally started the search for her forever home.
Ruby arrived into RSPCA care in very poor condition - she was found to be living in unsuitable conditions with very sore skin.
Now that Ruby has gained condition well and her sore skin has improved she has blossomed into a very affectionate girl who adores time spent with the staff and volunteers at the centre.
Due to Ruby's unfortunate start to life she can struggle when she is in close proximity to other dogs, however she has been working very hard at her training and has shown she loves to learn and has been improving each time! We are looking for a semi-rural area for Ruby given her struggles around other dogs.
Ruby has spent some time in a foster home and has shown she really enjoys her home comforts, she settles really well in general and is great company. She has also been spending some time in our office areas here at the centre and is often found snoozing in her bed whilst staff are busy working.
Ruby will likely need to stay on medication to keep her skin healthy for the rest of her life but this is currently inexpensive and we can discuss this in more detail when we receive your application.
Ruby may be able to live with older secondary aged children (15+) who have experience around dogs.
