Stunning Cali came to us from poor conditions and was very nervous when she first came into our care. She took a few days to settle but was soon ready to let us start building her trust. Cali loves her walks, happily trotting along next to her handlers, gazing at them with trust. She is happy to investigate new areas and people given there is plenty of food about. Cali would benefit from an owner who is experienced with nervous dogs, and a quieter home where there is little to no visitors. She will need time to adjust to her new home so someone with plenty of time to spare would be best, as Cali needs time to bond with you. Cali would be best suited to an adult only home, where she can find her new best friend to continue exploring the world around her. She could live with another dog who is confident to teach her about the world around her, pending a meet at the centre. She should however not be rehomed to a home with cats. Cali would need a quieter, rural type home where she can explore the outdoors further. Cali would make an amazing companion, she really wants to find someone to put her full trust in to continue to build her confidence. If your after a dog to be your best friend, or a dog who needs time and patience, then Cali is the girl for you
