Meet Cookie - A Doberman Cross Ready for His Forever Home

Cookie is now ready to find his forever family! This strong, bouncy boy is full of character and looking for a home that can provide both mental and physical stimulation to help him thrive.

Cookie isn't just about repetitive ball throwing - he's a clever lad who enjoys enrichment activities, structured training sessions, ragging games, and impulse control work. He's incredibly intelligent and already knows lots of cues. His recall is fairly good in our secure areas, though he'll need a refresher in his new home once he's built a bond with his handler.

Due to his size, strength, and enthusiasm, Cookie is searching for an adult-only home that can confidently manage him and continue his training.

He has done well with other dogs at the centre and could potentially live with another dog of a similar size and play style. However, any potential adopters will need to carefully consider walking arrangements, as handling Cookie alongside another dog may be challenging due to his strength - his loose lead walking needs continued work.

We think Cookie may be crossed with a bullbreed or labrador. Like many bull breeds, Cookie can struggle with managing his arousal levels if he isn't given the right outlets. With the correct lifestyle, guidance, and structure, he will make a wonderfully loyal companion who is incredibly fun and rewarding to train.
